Is the barrel a 30inch step rib or flat rib? 30 inch is a pretty long barrel for hunting if you are a smaller person in my opinion. What sort of choke are you wanting for ducking? For pond & closer shooting or big lake & Sky busting? I used a skeet barrel on my Rem 1100 25inch so was nice & mobile but only used 32gram loads as the trap barrels have 2 gas ports so are designed for lighter loads & heavy loads will beat the action up. Try for a field barrel or sell off the trap barrel or whole gun & get what you need. I could be interested in the rem 1100 trap barrel or whole gun if you are looking to move it on.
