After some advice on a Remington 1100
Long story short after pinching the old boys fancy new beretta last few seasons
He acquired and gifted me a Remington 1100 trap with 30 inch barrel
It’s a mid 60s model checkering quite a nice gun in unbelievably good condition
Witch brings me to the point I want if for ducking and guess I need to have it reamed to take steel shot as it has a full fixed choke witch I’m hesitant about as it really is mint and original
Have looked around local Canterbury stores for a second barrel with the correct choke but no luck
Question is should I really care about reaming it probably not ever going to be worth a great deal right?
is 30inch going to be to long for ducking?
Any advice or other options I could consider
Researched the net a little and got hit and miss info about fitting a later model barrel with removable chokes witch sounded like the ideal fix but no solid info.
Thanks 👍🏻
