Thread: Return spring-from rear to front?

Hi, im back with another question a bit out of the square thought.
I was wondering-the recoil/return spring in the stock. Im shooting an sx3-it has a spring arround the mag tube and in the stock. has anyone ever tried replacing the mag tube spring with one a little stiffer and ditching the spring in the stock?
I realise its a little more complicated than that-removal of the tail on the back of the bolt etc.
Wondered if an franchi affinity or stoger 3000 spring may be a good place to start.

I dont shoot 3.5-hell,after your advice on my patterning for geese question I started using 32-36g cartridges and seem to be killing geese better than I previously was with the 3 inch lead magnums. And at greater distances as well-so many thanks for the previous advice.

Ok-just realised it could never work-bolt isint on a carrier connected to the mag tube. stupid bloody question. sorry.
Been shooting with the fabarm lately and forgot the bloody obvious differences.
