Thread: Ruger Red Label shotguns?

Is anyone familiar with the Ruger Red Label shotguns?
I’ve been looking for an affordable, yet reasonable quality O/U 12g with chokes under 1/2 / mod, and have found one of these for sale.
Not much about them online, but they seem to be okay from what I see? Spare parts might be an issue?

I ran an older fixed choke 20ga one for a few years, I found it great and never had an issue of any type

i always wanted a Red Lable, for years. But they were never available when I had the coin, or too bloody expensive when I did. Had a mate who had one, was sweet to shoot. He will never part with it, and think he also bought one in 20g for his kids. Nice shotguns.

Had a few my last one is still with a guy that got a dog off me… I guess he forgot to return it.
They are heavy

I have 1 in mint condition that i want to move on.

I had the stainless synthetic model and it was a great gun! Never should have sold it

Heavy but we'll balanced never the less, the auto safety was a pain though

Ive got one in 28g, bit of fun.
In my opinion they are expensive for what they are, may have changed.
And new parts for them are no longer made, so not quite as simple if you break a pin or something.
