hi guys, my Khan U/O 12g requires a longer LOP, who do you advise to do it in the Auckland area?
is it best to actually go and visit the guy so he can 'fit it' to me?
thanks in advance

this is easy enough to do it yourself.if your pad is ok, all you need to buy is a block which are obtainable from a good gunstore or online.about 25mm is the biggest i think, but if you require thicker than that buy two to get the required thickness.you will probably also need longer screws.take your stock in to make sure the plate is the correct size, then all you have to do is grind/sand to get it the right dimensions.if all this is not your deal, a gunsmith should do it for about $60 plus materials.
@rambo-6mmrem should be able to comment whether John is still going and how slow he may now be
Yeah still going and a fantastic gunsmith but yep slow
mate has a beretta pintail12g ,which hes bloody deadly with .decided to extend stock-LOP.got a piece of perspex approx 12mm thick and having marked it out ,carefuly used his dremel tool to shape it before he remounted his recoil pad and put the lot back on his stock.it is a very classy bit of work and hes more bloody lethal than ever.!
