    Shotgun Suppressors NZ

Does anyone make shotgun suppressors in NZ? Loud booms seem to send turkeys a cross the boundary fence. Be nice if DPT made them, who else agrees?

Are you already shooting subsonic loads? Worth a try before you go to the full expense of adding your shotgun can. Require more lead on the wing, etc.

Probably not what you are after but I've seen a few integrally suppressed 410s around - cool guns for short shots

    On a 12g? I'm amazed it hasn't blown apart.

A guy at the gun club told me about his one that was developed and built by a gunsmith in Whangarei, based on a single shot turkish .410. He brought it along, and I had a shot at a single rise target with commercial ammo. Managed to hit it OK, and it made no more noise than an air rifle. Quite impressive.

If you're looking for cheaper than the Atec (I certainly was) the hushpower 12g suppressors that are made over in the UK look to be alright, not too much info on them and you would need all the import paperwork to be sorted but currently the price works out to around $350 nzd instead of the $800 odd the Atecs go for,
again i've not used one and cant find a whole lot on the performance of them, I was thinking of supressing a 12g myself but haven't really got around to it yet

or another place that sells them
    https://saddleryandgunroom.co.uk/gunroom/hushpower/

dont know if either would ship to NZ but its another option

There's a gunsmith in Whangarei who makes them.
Owl optics sell suppressed 410 shotguns. Not sure if they make the themselves or get this guy to do them.
I thought his name on here was Nzpreccission but it doesn't come up when I mention him.
Hi, yes it is me who makes them fssprecision@gmail.com, I make them and Owl Optics sell them, what you see on the Owl Optics website is the new version coming out soon.

    Cheers
