Anyone on the forum have one?

I was going to suggest a good old go-pro like one of my shooting mates tried on the weekend. haven't seen the footage but the Shotkam looks pretty trick (with a price tag to match though).
My boy is struggling with dropping birds and anything outside of 35-40 yards.
I have tried to get him on but he hasn't grasped the concept of it yet.
He is smoking most of everything inside decoy range fairly regularly tho.
I may be frustrating him a bit as well[emoji16]
It looks like a good tool to critique both of us.

I get it although I'm a crap coach. Someone joked once that I use "the force" which is probably right. when I'm on its good. when I'm off I don't know whats going on.
left eye dominant though with a RH shooter so picking lead from the bead tricky. If I think about lead I'm screwed, If its happening quick the hit rate goes up.
Had an OEG aimpoint on the shotgun years ago and I reckon that helped my averages a little as it really suited the left eye dominant thing.
Anyway good luck with the cam and the lad.
There is a guy on the Blaserbuds forum posting video with a shotkam. Looks impressive, would be a good teaching tool for sure.
My missus brought me an aimcam while in the states recently. I have played with it to work it out but have yet to use it shooting. The video quality is great.
Get some Tracer cartridges . Will soon see where he’s missing

Just been to the website, I want one.....
My old man uses one for clay shooting, and i have stolen it a few times. He picked it up when he was in the states. Great bit of kit! It certainly helps you review what the hell you did wrong and is very easy to use. You can actually see the shot and the wad in the air so you instantly know how you are missing. You need to really make sure the gun fits and you are consistent with your mount, otherwise its a waste of time. Dad takes his iPad to some casual shoots and reviews the footage in between rounds. Cannot rate them highly enough.
I might see if I can grab one when I am over there next month.
The new 2018 one is meant to be an improvement.
I would love one I could fit to a 1911/2011 frame for Ipsc practice.
Hopefully they shrink them down and maybe fit to the trigger guard in the near future.
