    Question Steel ammo availability?

Am looking to buy a cheap double barrel to shoot my yearly 10 birds. So just checking what's the availability when it comes to steel shot. In 12 and 20g. #3 #4?
Was looking around online and couldn't find much in stock .
Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.

Ammo generally does not arrive in store until month before season starts.
Buy a 12g unless you have a particular reason for buying a 20ga. There will always be more choice in ammo for 12ga (i use a 20ga and finding non toxic ammo is almost like looking for AR2225 or RE26 powder

I quite like that 20g Ygun on here which is why I included the 20 otherwise it will be probably a 12g Khan o&u unless someone have something cheap floating around here. Had semis and pumps but never enjoyed shooting them .

    you.l enjoy a 20 gauge with 3 inch steel faR less in a o/u.
only shortage here seems to be 2 3/4 inch 12 gauge steel 2,s plenty of 12 in 3,s 4,s in many brands.
steel 2,s is as small as i,l go on geese.
come on the gamebore 12g 2 3/4 30 gram goose killers

Probably best to avoid Winchester. The gun club was contacting there supplier as a few shooters were complaining about miss fires with one junior shooter loosing a competition last weekend because of it. Around one box out of a slab miss firing. Yes lead loads but I guess its the same components and process to make the cartridge just the shot difference maybe.
Most good gun shops have a small choice of shells available, but as others have said come April brings a better choice.
