    Yup but if using some snappy steel loads you will have more reduction in felt recoil. @gonetropo that's a bugger. Only load that never cycled my old A5 was some buckshot. Worked and still working with trap loads and up to 1 3/8 lead back in the day.
    Getting the friction rings around the right way is meant to make a big diffo but I'm sure between you and Rod it was kosher
