    Lightbulb Stoger M3000

Stoger m3000 is having problems with jamming and cycling rounds though. Any ideas how to fix this or parts that I can replace to fix this issue? Have been told a different hammer spring but any other thoughts?

Have you tried giving it a really good clean?
    What exactly is it doing?
If you try different ammo does it go better?

Put a couple of box’s of 3 inch through it. If you’ve already put a few through and it’s not cycling them, take a look at the bolt carrier.
Pull it down and the chassis the bolt moves with needs a little filing. There’s a square shoulder on the butt end. Just needs to be rounded abit. Search utube Stoeger. A few pop up and one of them explains and shows how to do it. There’s also a few other tips and tricks there as well

Also keep an eye on where the bolt locks into the chamber.

Im not saying the 3000 will do this, but my 2000 did. Had quite few through it, mainly 3 “ but ruined a days shooting

Cheers that’s super helpful will give it a go! When it usually happens is when you pull the trigger and nothing happens but it will cycle a new round through which jams it and other times it will fire and not cycle anything though.

Yeap tried different ammo 3” and had worked better with the heavier rounds but still an issue. Have cleaned also. It’s not cycling after you have fired and other time’s its like a miss fire which causes a shot to cycle though which then jams it!

Sounds like another issue then. I was thinking the bolt was staying/jamming open. Maybe a trip to where you got it from.....if it’s still under warranty

Sounds a like something wrong with the recoil mechanism. Check that the locking parts of the bolt are moving freely.

Hey did you have any joy with this in the end? I know it's an old thread but I've had the same problem with my m3000 and came up with a home job fix
