Thread: super short vs short barrel?

I have a bit of spare money and i'm dead keen on a TAC-12. i can get a 14.5 inch barrel or a 18.5 inch barrel.

I have a 28" ranger 870 that I use occasionally on birds. So this is more a fun gun or occasionally shooting rabbits or goats.

pros/cons? I'm leaning towards the 14.5 with a suppressor and eventually a red dot for maximum tacticool factor.
