Taoroa Simulated Field Shoot 2016 - Photos!

Bloody long weekend with a whole lot of driving for us but i managed to make it along to the Taoroa Simulated Field Shoot (Duckshooter's event). Was the first time i have been to this event and i had a whole bunch of fun. A lot of shorter tricky targets (for me anyway!)

Yep certainly needed to lead it more! And it isn't one of mine of course. Would have been a better picture had there been a bit of cloud around.

Excellent photography Gillie. What shutter speed?

Mostly around the 1/2000sec speed @Woody. I adjusted the shutter speed through the day so the ISO setting did get too high.

Awesome photos, what camera/lens combo?

Canon 70D with the Canon 24-105mmL lens.

Gillie it is excellent work. I don't think I have EVER seen such a clear photo of a shot string near a clay target in the air. I suggest you contact NZCTA and show them your pics. I am sure they would be interested.
