Thread: Waitamata clay club beginner shoot

Went to the clay club today and shot clays for the first time today using my old hand me down gaucha 12g overunder we put through 150 rounds and absolutely sucked for the first 25 but with some guidence from a very nice gentleman from barbados and jeff the range saftey officer i started shooting more consistently. Its definately a rich mans sport but ill be back
If you are a begginner like me head along and have a go they have bereta club guns which you can hire or like me take your cow boy/farmer gun for a blast i found them to be very easy going helpful and willing to lend a hand and offer practical advice

Good on you. It was only when I began shooting skeet on that club with a fellow forum member who gave me wealth of information, then the pheasants began to fall off the sky...
