You have the choice of Modified or improved cylinder in this choke.

Sheesh. This stupid boy is in the process of doing battle with Constable Plod and filling out forms to buy a shotgun "silencer" ...( PLEASE no quibble about the words, silencer / moderator / stick your fingers in your ears and hum loudly / whatever), as now I have a "would you like fries with that" type question from the supplier :

".....You have the choice of Modified or improved cylinder in this choke......."

To explain, The choke is the screw in coupling device between the 12 gauge barrel and the silencer. No slugs will be used, lead only #4 up to #8 to annoy incoming/ outgoing magpies, starlings, blackbirds etc all raping my fruit trees. Basically, think of vineyard, bird predation culling.

For heavier stuff, the silencer will be replaced with a Tactical Breacher Choke and a slug,

SO Please Modified or improved cylinder for the coupling silencer?

    Thank You
    .

As your shots will be close i suspect, as wide a pattern as possible would be best. So ic, skeet or cylinder wounder be my advice.

mod= half impcyl = 1/4 so definately go imp cly as it will give you more spread, load of #8s have lots of tiny pellets and you dont need many to hit to do the biz.
