Traditionally the valley straight ahead from the woolshed holds the best numbers in the forest.
hahah isnt that that truth ! mind you I can see a day out in good kit , a nice lunch and good company would be pleasant if you had dollars to burn -i dont . Also the picking up if your dogs are sharp and dont make you look like a right ----- would be good . Nothing like hunting over a pointing dog tho in my mind
@Munsey I think the Ranger is a better option, can put dog box's in/on the back.
If that were a reality then some would not spend all of their time with their dog trying to find pheasants on a property immediately adjacent to a pheasant preserve. I can get you an invitation to run your dogs on the actual property if it is good enough! Meanwhile you can just keep running your dog around the outskirts, hitting the button on your e-collar control when you run out of ability and then look down on those who actually train their dogs. In the interim, you'd probably be best pressed to keep your training advice to yourself and stop trying to shop your bizarre dress sense to people who wouldn't give a shit about it!
Question to ask yourself... Is your dog able to meet the standard required on that shoot? I have seen you and it, and I do not think so!
4th week shot once in pukelohe and only ran a ddog for a shooter ..im not much of a shooter at the mo hhahaha next week lets hope its my weekend
how many did you see ?
we put up 22 on Friday, public land too, I shot like a blind man but the bitch has no manners around another dog on point, most were bumped or snuck out the blind spot.... awesome day mind.
for the cabbages of course
I;m not saying you're stupid, but you are incredibly unlucky when it comes to thinking!
im a doer not a speaker , you speak away ....its what your best at .....
This is great  to be fair Some of your best work so far ! . That's with The real personal nasty stuff aside that is !
Aaaaaah, that's right we are in the dog section, can't have a thread that resulted in a good couple of days out get through without personal insults between people who weren't there :ORLY:
yes and i dont know why he is even belly aching hahahah a learned habit
FFS, ok here we go. When @Munsey came up to Auckland last weekend he was offered the use of a couple of cars ,he had already hired a car and didnt take up the offer. Now 1 of these cars was a Range Rover & that is the reason the Range Rover was mentioned in his post. I dont know what the fuck is going on between Ruff & El B but its bullshit and got nothing to do with Munseys weekend hubting pheasants with me & @Pointer. If you 2 want to argue then fuck off and start another thread.
cant say that i did Z want a stouch about something Clark HAS INVENTED IN HIS HEAD and was just commenting on something you said in a positive manner ...nek minute ..hahah . How did the hunt go ?
I agree with uplander, I have some great memories attached to this trip, catching up for a shot with a good mate, and making a new mate as well. If you ladies want handbags at 20 paces fuck off and call each other on the phone, don't pollute this thread.
yeah id agree with that pointer
so did you bag a few pointer with he boys
Oh fuk, wait till you see my post in 'Brace yourself'.......digging a trench right now!!!!!!!
Munsey was top gun for the morning, took a pair of birds. Saw many more but that's how it goes. Was a good day
awesome , a good day out with mates is a fine time, birds or no birds ..a few certainly makes it more pleasing !! ive got to get off my arse and do something myself haha
