    central otago and spaniels

    spent the last few days in alex munching on apricots and cherrys and managed a few sessions out chasing rabbits and shooting a few with the 17hmr.
    its been 30 years since i was last here, the weather is the same and the rabbits are here in spades...... the smell of the tyme is something else.
    shot a dozen hares with the 17 in geraldine prior to coming down and the young fella shot his first bunny with the .22 which was a bonus.
    the dogs are having a ball too.

    That last photo is a beauty! The thyme around Alex is quite different when you aren't use to it.
