mine will hold them all day or untill they move,we once tracked one 500 metres, but i didnt release him.Ha ha yes I no what you mean , gsps ??? , my old wire hair hunted like that setter on phesseys , I just about wore out my safety , it was on then off , I used too get so excited , when the bird flushed I'd completely miss it WTF ! . I'd did enjoy the vid , keep up the good work . Love to see one of that quality in the shooting season , with some birds getting smashed .
now if it holds till i get up to him, i dont shoot if they flush wild before i get there but use it as a opportunity to make him hold his position. i just give him the release and he flushes them he does seem to have the ability to mesmerise them pretty well and i havent had any flush out of range when i get up to himoccassionly totaly the opposite side from where i thought they were and back over me,thats probably me losing him in the scruband thinkin he,s opposite to where he actually is
but stiil well in range
