    Duke needs a home

    Hi all,
we are looking for an experienced owner to home our 2 1/2 year old boy Duke who is a pure bred Hungarian Vizsla, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and lovable.
In true Vizsla nature he forms strong bonds with humans and is great with children, but suffers separation anxiety.
We have sadly reached the point where our work demands mean we no longer can give him the attention he deserves.
He would be suited to a home where the owners are about and would do best where he is the only dog as he is unsure of other dogs.
Duke was attacked as a pup and although very happy to play with other dogs when supervised his anxiety levels are too high to be left unaccompanied.
The volume of dogs in our area is too much for him to cope with.
He has never stalked but is a quick learner and easy to train, he has never been aggressive or destructive just requires boundless love and reassurance.

If interested or are able to put us in touch with someone who can help please PM.
It is with a heavy heart we write this post.

    Nice looking dog @Duke

I'm sure someone here can give him a very good home.

    Cheers

That has gotta be hard to do. Shame he is not comfortable around other dogs.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Kerikeri is a long way from where I am based, but before you rehome him know there is things you can do to correct some of the issues he has. If you want to discuss these please feel free to call me to discuss. There's not much I can do for you myself, just so you know I am not touting for business, but I might be able to give you some help even just on the phone. Those issues are not ingrained and can be addressed. Just an option to float for you... my contact number is on my website www.gundogtraining.co.nz
