One of these things is not like the other!

a setter is high on the list of dogs to get

they are pretty cool, i'd have one too.

this is an unregoed litter but comes from a Far North line that is well known

no papers, no future.

if dogs don't have papers they just end up ''going to the dogs ''pun intended

considering that this line has been going for longer than you Kawhia, your statements full of shit

either way ,, i been reading Dr leon Mortensens book again (about 6-7 times now) and he says they used to be able to register dogs that were true to type if they where born with out papers, its a shame some thing like this is not passable now, if the owner wanted to go down that route

they closed that register once new blood was introduced and the breed got out of the bottle neck........ perhaps the breed is back in that position ?
they have recently reintroduced the B register again in the uk for exactly the same reasons.

kennel club BS, I agree if it looks like a pig ,grunts like a pig its a pig so let it then be recognized

it can be done...... if the whakapapa is that long then it will be traceable and i'm pretty sure i read somewhere that the distant pedigree names are still known.

It also has to be able to produce pigs. That is an important distinction.
