I'm overseas at the moment and have had some hiccups with the care of my English Setter Northstream Blue Belle (bred by me). She was supposed to have been with family but that unfortunately was not to be, because of their extremely timid cat who decided to boycott the place when Bella was there.
She is now with a retired hunter but his wife has been hospitalized, so we probably need to find a different option again until I'm back in January.
Ideally, I was hoping for Bella to be with someone retired, or someone who'd spend time with her instead of just locking her away. So if anyone here on the forum knows of anyone decent who'd be keen, please let me know.
If this is a hunter / bird dog person they could have a good hunting season ahead. I have been using Bella on ducks (she's a strong retriever), pheasants and quail. She just turned ten years old (on February 28th) but she's still pretty fit. She has spent all her life with her mother (my Norwegian import Moulin). Unfortunately Moulin had to be put down in November, so Bella has been needing more human company since then. She is very good natured and also excellent around children.
