    Gamebird vests

Has anyone got any experience with the MOmarsh VERSAVEST dog vests? Trying to find something to fit a gsp. Havnt had much luck with the common brands in regards to fitting the gsp shape, so looking for an alternative option and came across these.

Same problem - my GSP has been getting chaffing from the ones I have. Tried to order the Momarsh from HunterNZ but he is out of stock until around Dec.

H&F reckon they can order them in, how long, I'm unsure. Thought about custom but God knows how much and who to talk to.

My old Brittany was very deep chested. So much so that she had no hair on her brisket and the patch looked something like a Friars Tonsure.
During hunting season she would get very torn up on this bare skin.
With not much being available here back in those days I made a vest out of some fluro cordura type material and a few web straps with velcro sewn onto them.
Roughly a triangle of material wide at the front with a collar of web and velcro so it could break away if needed, should she get hooked up. Another web strap at the rearthat went around the mid riff, behind the rib cage. It really helped in the blackberry.
Maybe with a bit of imagination you could do something like that?

Yeah I'm considering even making one or getting someone to, be alot cheaper.
