I have one of them, Rotherfalke Sena, he's now seven months old and coming on brilliantly. I have more or less completed his retrieving training and am about to start on serious hunting with him. They are a relatively new breed but for me the big attraction is that the small local gene pool means that there are a lot of continental bred dogs in the UK and the result is that the British, in their inimitable way, haven't had enough time to completely f*** them up. Something I firmly believe has been the downfall of UK bred HPR's. You only have to look at the controversy surrounding the renewal of the UK Kennel Club's Champion Stake to see where I'm coming from. Mine is a nicely made dog with an outstanding temperament.
Looks interesting.
There are some here in NZ.
