What a great send-off post. Seems like a bloody good dog mate.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.
The Mrs & I really appreciate it!

The house is very quite now with no click click of paws on the floor.
Went up and donated his beds to a dog trust up the road, seems like a good place which will pass this on.

Not sure when we will look for another bit raw at the moment.

Condolences, mate. Judging by the pics, he lived life to the full. A dog like that can't be replaced, although you will find other dogs that share his spirit, and maybe a spot in your heart.

The tragedy starts on the day when they come home- dogs just don't live long enough.

One day you will smile when you think of him, and that is how it should be.

I'm very sorry for your loss, and hope the pain passes soon.

Some are just special aye. Loved that read mate, sorry for your loss.
We've lost a couple of dogs in the last three years, it's never easy.
Have got a young GSP on the go now and looking forward to what she does, she's got the early signs of a great dog.

Thanks guys. Can’t believe it’s been 5 months already. House might be clean but it’s very quite.

Clean houses are all well and good but I believe a house is never the same without a dog, sorry for your loss. Great photos and memories. A special dog indeed.

If you have a garden and a library, you have all you need. Oh, and a dog, and a rifle
