Post Looking for Male Lab To Put Over Bitch

    Hi guys
Am planning to breed from my lab next heat she’s coming up 3 years old and is proving to be a great wee dog with a heck of a big hunting drive has been going very well on everything from ducks pheasant and quail to in the hills tracking deer and tahr and have also used her on a few wallaby shoots flushing wallabies. Would like to get a litter out of her to hopefully settle her down abit as is still quite puppy like and also will be keeping a pup for myself and have a couple of mates very keen to have one out of her too. Looking for a lab to put over her that is light framed and of smaller build like she is. Ideally fox red or black. Am located in Waimate so if anyone knows of any good hunting labs in south Canterbury north Otago area let me know
    Cheers

She was out of Sam Yules line from Dunedin both parents were good hunting dogs, mother was a light build like Ruby is.Shes been great on the hill way less huff and puff than my last lab who had the build of the English lines of lab. Looked around for quite along time trying to find a lighter built pup so really keen to keep it going. And yep good spotting @Trout sure is the waitaki have had some great shoots on the river especially since buying a jetboat a couple years ago has really opened up a lot of opportunities on the river both shooting and salmon fishing wise.

I spent a decade or 2 on that river chasing salmon yrs ago.It was a great way of life for many yrs,you lived for salmon fishing. There use to be a song of the Waitaki river to the sea? on the local radio station back in the 60s70s.
