    MISSING DOGS

Guys, my sister's dogs are missing. I hope it is ok but here is her message...

On Friday 27th of February our two dogs went missing. They were last seen at Watsons Road, Masterton before 10:30am. One of the dogs is a cream coloured Labrador who responds to the name Tatry and the other dog is a Hungarian Vizsla called Poppy. Both of the dogs have microchips.

If you see Tatry and Poppy please call Katharine on 027 5246996. Thank you.

The family is absolutely devastated as you would imagine.

Suggest you report to police as well as SPCA and Councils.
Dog thefts prior to bird season got so bad around here a few years ago , I used to padlock my dogs under the house at night. These days they are never out of my sight.

    good luck mate

So many dogs getting stolen these days.

lots of rumors running around of a huge dog fighting ring in lower north island.
Get her to cheek out fence, gate, footpath, road for anything that could be a marking.
Bits of paint, or tape have been seen around properties where dogs have been stolen.

My sister has had two dogs stolen both times had markings outside.
One was stolen from inside the house.

Oh thank you so much Everyone for your posts.. @199p we had heard about that...BUT THE DOGS ARE BACK HOME...oh boy what an awful few days...it is totally bizarre...the dogs were left at a woman's house...apparently people will take the dogs and then leave them at other people's homes...one woman said whilst she was at the back of her property she heard the front gate close; wondering what was going on she went around to the front of the house only to find a dog there...it defies logic...so thank you all again, the dogs were very hungry but not hurt in anyway...truly bizarre...but at least they are back home...not like the many that are taken and never seen of again...
