    New pup at home

Meet Hugo. Father 1/2 lab and 1/2 GSP. Mother 80% GSP 20% Vizla. 10’weeks old. Straight out into the kennel last night. Going to use the deer blue print with him. At the moment he’s completely preoccupied with dry humping poor old ruby

Great looking dog. I used the blue print with my dog, she turned out pretty well.

Settling in nicely. Sleeping in the kennel. Knows “ on your mat “ and “sit”. Toilet training going well. He has a heap of energy but is very intelligent. Will start on the deer blueprint in another week or so.

my new "pup" 18 month old rescue
bloody hell she is intelligent, though has destroyed a few things as was not used to a domestic environment, first 2 weeks she "rounded up" the cats
caught all 3 on my bed together this morning looking like a husband walking into the wifes orgy. mouse dog settling in fine but i think she has been whistle trained as a couple of week ago at the archery range at double whistle she tried to round up people

They sure do add an extra dimension to our lives.

    Looks like a lovely pup.

The German and Latin boys name Hugo comes from the Germanic name Hugh, and means “mind” and “intellect,” as well as "soul," "thought," and "heart."

Oh yeah, that's an awesome mix and a beautiful looking pup. They are just the best hunting buddies and through careful training and repetition will (a) recognise when the hunting gear is getting packed (b) believe that sitting in the ute will transport them to walks and hunts and (c) access to the couch can be achieved through a year's nagging (d) the next meal is only seconds away (e) if you have teenagers where they leave all their food sources.... enjoy all the stages of life, even when they are young lunatics
