for any new dog owner be wary taking anyones advice or opinion too seriously when they them selves are on there first or second screw up.

I understand the finer points of training will be experience based, however to even start in the right direction that knowledge must come from somewhere.

I am sure most people have gone to school, rather than just being chucked into the wider world to learn everything through experience.
