    Keen to do some reading about indicating dogs,could someone point me the right direction please

    Been looking at a few books lately but they are all written overseas and so don't focus on deer indicators, only birds dogs.

    There has been an article in the last few issues of nz hunter on indicating dogs.

    and i see an add on t/m advertising pups on the basis from them......... 450 bucks for a 50 pup.
    basic obedience and the end result of having a dog that will heel for hours on end won't fill up a chapter let alone a book.

    pointing a bird or deer in the long run whats the difference , its the manners on point you want and the easiest way to get that is on fixed birds

    paul michels , he has done few write ups for nz hunter he used to be a trapper and spent 2-3months at a time in the bush with his dog , he recently rejoined us mugs out here in the so called civilised world and is doing some guided hunts with his dog , hes a mate of mine pm me i will give u his contact details
