Thread: Red Letter Day for the Young One

My young dog executed a double blind retrieve today...I was so pleased with him...probably not very earth shattering in the scheme of things, but it certainly was for me to see him do such a good job!! His delievery was deliberate and well paced, as he always manages to do. His quartering could have been slicker but it was not the object of the exercise so I was not too concerned.
I find it interesting when you have a roughshooting dog doing 'formal' training...it is as if their minds go into low ratio, for want of a better term

I tell you what though, a friend of mine who I used to work with gave me some scallops from the Marlborough sounds today...
