We will breed all going well in 7 months
There are far too many Setters on this thread...:D
Any one seen a mustalander (excuse the spelling) work ? . I seen one hunting down Cromwell on the quail , whent real well and pointed from memory too , funny looking dog ,but had it going on . I think the guy was from Duneden .
some images sent to me from an Aussi breeder JOHN GILLIGAN . I think these may have Skid Hamilton's dog behind them
Why is that EB?
possibly laziness or socialization
I work hard on socializing very young pups. They get feed together as the big dogs do to but not with them, and handled a shitload by everyone around the house. It makes for a very good start.
I work on the premise that the litter is already socializing with itself and the dam and other dogs anyway, but I like to feed the puppies in individual bowls so that they all get an equal share and it gives the more reticent ones time out from the bullies of the family...also you can see if they need more...some are slow eaters and therefore in a communal bowl they will miss out. Just my idea on the matter;)
some pointers, setters and epagneul breton...text in French

Agreed, I like them all, minus the hairy black and tans :P
The pointers were more definitive on point, but the setters had better ground treatment in those videos, the pointers were all over the show
very enjoyable watching their mouths puffing like bellows filtering the bird scent -love it
There is a French kennel called 'les buveurs d'air' - sums it up really, a beautiful name
