Be fucked. No means stop. You can add all the flowery crap you want after that, but they are one and the same. We know the meanings of the words, a mutt doesn't, it's not going to say to it'self "well the old boss dude said no but the ol cunt didn't say stop. So that must mean I can go a bit longer before he really loses his rag and I have to stop doing this".

Then in another thread we hear about setters heading over the ridge after rabbits. Did it know no or stop?

Yep, you could call it "fryingpan!" if you really wanted. Or better yet, "Tweed!"

but you and dogie cant even teach your dog to stop so what are you saying , that you teach it or not

That's dogs, plural, as I go out with about ten to twelve at a time. So my version of stop is a lot different to most peoples, but I can tell you they know, it's whether they accept it or not that I can't tell you, but sooner or later they stop.

What I will say is when I get the chance to train a dog one on one they do. Stop means stop now you fucker, it doesn't mean stop 'in a bit'. In fact I've had dogs easier to get this across to than you!
