read it, not the way I would go because you are left at a dead end with only a massive outcross as your next option... I want another "like" him, not another him... I follow Jim Clarke's methodology on breeding... has worked for a long time... but thanks... Bob Wehle has some interesting theories but i follow a few other ideas....

Jim's methodology has meant he can stay within his line 100%, not create the genetic issues close breeding invariably creates and still have type and hunt... and have no need for extreme outcrossing.
