    Munsey how long has this been on the dog? Did it just appear over night or something just building up slowly. If its infection antibiotics probably will sort it for 7-10days. Id be suprised if its fatty lumps on the face.

    email the vet. Hopefully they wont say the usual "can't say without seeing the dog"...
    infact email few. Get second and third opinion...
