    Where to find a Brittany?

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. We're trying to track down a Brittany breeder planning a litter either late this year or into 2014. Of the 2 breeders I've found online, one is no longer breeding and the other not taking enquires for 2012-13, tried emailing them anyway but haven't heard back. Thought I'd at least ask on here before looking into importing one from Aussie.

Have a look on Trademe website.
A Brittany litter is for sale at present - sire black & white and dam orange & white.
I think there are just dog pups left to sell now.

Neat video of the bitch doing a water retrieve thru rapid river flow. Great stuff.
On Youtube as well = Pratt Point Brittany kennel.

There are some good breeders in Aussie and plenty of working dogs being imported too.
Only problem with importing will be the killer air fares - there is no quarrantine between Aussie & NZ so purchase is straightforward.

    Good Luck.

Good to see the Brittany's are getting a mention!. I'm getting mine from a breeder here in Aus, there are a few over this way but like you've seen already they're very hard to catch as most don't breed often and have waiting lists when they do. Thats pretty much the boat I'm in at the moment.

Smart man Ruff, the sire is Tobenlee but don't know where the dam is from. What's their reputation in your opinion? I've spoken to one bloke on an Aus forum with a pup from them and he swears by it as a great dog. As you say though could be luck

I've been praying to hear something like that! having said that I realise an idiot can ruin a dog with great potential probably just as easy as someone can work hard and have a great dog from less prestigious lines. I'm going to do everything I can to have a good dog...providing they have a bitch for me that is, could be a litter of dogs!

    Thanks ruff
