Thread: Where too from here?

I think in all reality I am suffering now from 14 years of walking behind Brick a dog Bob Whitehead rates as the best Springer he has seen and going forward, while we have the blood to breed back to him(and obviously have by the results of the progeny we are on the right track) I am waiting for this next litter where I will keep a dog and hopefully get something closer to the style of the old boy.

i havent had that with gundogs but have had at least one or two working dogs that i struggled to get the like of again ruff as any thing close was usually wanting in comparison.
i guess she,s handy to you so breeding wont be a problem ??
i thought for a while you were describing a ''regret dog'' but your obviously well dogged up not to regret passing her on

Good luck Ruff. Keep us informed what the result is. I am in the same position. I wait/hope that my Glynvilla Griffin bitch comes in heat to keep back a few pups to keep that line going.
About bitches. Just as with humans, not all females are easy. I have always had bad luck with dogs and succes with bitches. Some of them were not easy at all.
