I think any test regime has to be good - teaching your dog and seeing what he has retained is good for both handler and dog --to not have any sort of competition tho will never push one to be the best or better than they can be .We are not all competitive -Iam -but even if you dont win you can evaluate and work forward from there
Im more interested in the natural abilty of a dog not what the handler teaches it, the finishing of the dog can be done later on
