Thread: WTB: Lab bitch pup

My teenage daughter is looking for a new pup to train. She has looked after our border collie for the past 5 years. Been talking about it for a few months now, so I'm thinking the timing is right, and going into holidays, it'd be better to have an interest like this instead of wanting to sit indoors on technology. Short notice, so that may not be possible. There's a few options on TM, but I'm a bit shy of what you'd end up with so a recommendation from here would help me buy in confidence.

Living on a farm and being part time armed tramper, we want something that is good with children, does well with other pets (old BC bitch above and cat), farm animals (mainly sheep, but also chooks, ducks and turkey) but also something that I can take on the odd armed tramp.

Any litters coming up?

Prefer black or yellow... prefer pure lab rather than a cross, but open to persuasion

Yup we have pure lab pups on the way soon. Hunting parents, farm dogs and great with kids.

Keepersmoor has just had a litter. All fox red labs. I don't know the sire, but the dame is a bitch called Timber and she is a very good upland game dog.

Hi again, after Mother Nature cruelly intervened in the above litter, I’m back looking for a pup. Been in contact with Chris at Keepersmoor, and tracked down a couple TM listings, but there's only male pups available.

If anyone has a lead of a fox red bitch pup, or upcoming litter, I’d appreciate a heads up.
