my sons staffy was like this .however my old lab cross couldnt have given a stuff except when he persisted in removing staples from a suture line after huge bloody cancerous growth removal which returned and was fatal).I promptly used my restraining skills (taught in psychiatric nursing) and took control of his head .the bloody"you bastrd"look i got was a heartbreraker -not!!
Mr staffy on the othewr hand -he was having none of it -so a little dose of sleepy juice was required .poor bloody vets would ring "munter is ready "as you heard a very very drunk howling racket down the phone .had him in recently major dental extractions anaesthetic bowled him arse over elbow for 24hours .socialisation is rthe key and if in an unfamiliar environs rigid control .these two if we had them out where other dogs were were made to sit by our legs and not move which often saw other dogs approach but then sort of halt ??WTF...and other owners thank us.If in doubt too-on the lead -some now come with usual collarv or harness plus Micky ducks flash version muzzle control as well.
