Anyone one feeding their hound pedigree dog biscuits?

Just swaped my 7 month over to pedigree dog biscuits from Royal canine maxi junior. Dog loves the Royal canine, and turns his nose up at most other brands.
He has been laying some scoury shits for the past three days. Thinking the new biscuits aren't agreeing with him.
Today we drove up the beach for a run, we roll in a cruiser, great beach wagons but you share the cab with the dog. He was putting down some of the worst dog farts I've ever had the misfortune to smell! (I've smelt a few) my god Windows down in the rain eye watering gagging!
The first sold shit I've seen in three days was this evening, but it was a Murawai black sand dog barker, from fetching the decoy this morning all covered in sand.
Hoping it's a temporary adjustment to diet.

    Any thoughts?

Did you introduce the new biscuits gradually changing the quantity? Or finish one bag and opened the other.....change of feed will cause gut upset

Yea true that, it was one bag to the other. Definatly him laying the nasty stools as I have witnessed ( wasn't the abusive neighbour). At least I got some one to blame my farts on, now the kids are old enough to stick up for themselves

we chop and change dog food brands/varieties all the time ( not the cheap brands) but it would be unusual to have your problem. Only time I can recall that happening was with some PAL Meaty Bites (multi coloured biscuits) we brought when we ran out of the prpoer stuff over a long weekend. One dog vomited it up and the other had "explosive runs"

We feed it mixed 50/50 with raw for some of ours, we have issues with them putting on weight so end up changing them back to royal canin weight loss a few times a year, haven't quite got the balance right.
Going from high quality to basic dog food will give you what you have, you end up feeding more over time and the dumpage is pretty much the same as what you feed in. Similar to feeding tux.

I think I might 50/50 the pedigree bag I have with some Royal canine till the gut comes right.

Local vet recons some of the cheaper brands are higher in salts which can give them the squirts.

I tried that, my husky could sort biscuits she would eat from those she wouldn't on "the fly" she would spit the SD out while swallowing the others. I mixed a bag of Royal Canin (which she would eat) with a bag of Science Diet.
She always left an empty bowl with a pile of SD biscuits beside it.

BUT you can buy your Dogfood from here and get free delivery and a good discount for regular order and they often send further discount coupons.

There is nothing cheap about those prices @mikee Hell, those are more expensive than buying from the vet even with the 'free freight'...

when i got my dog (dogo cross bull terrier)_ he had been starved and abused by the previous owner. (good job he wasnt there at pickup time) i fed him on rabbit meat for awhile. after awhile tried him on various dry foods till i decided on coprice. seems to work. had him for 6+ years and he is doing well, well apart from the fact the kitten is boss and he loves bichons and poodles to play with.
either way its good food just dont feed too much

We been buying from animates on special which has been cheaper than the vet. Royal canine maxi Jnr 20kg for around $120 from memory. But all ways on the look out for a deal.
