Yeah as per comments above, you'll need to be careful with the fleece ones mate. Some short-haired dogs are fine if they are worked close and not casting out and back all day, but a couple of the ones I've worked with wearing fleece hi-viz jackets like the Stoney Creek type have a tendency to get way too hot (and they don't know it until its a problem). No way would I work a dog with one of those types outside of cold winter weather, working dogs aren't designed for added insulation when its warmer.

I've just tried to find the company in Aus that makes the lightweight mesh blaze orange or blue jackets, the deer dogs I hunted with in Victoria wore them and they're great. No idea what they are called. They make hunting ones with no reflective strips. May have even been an Alibaba product, who knows. Google a bit and you'll find them.

Have a look at the Getty dog fleece. Not bad.
But for older dogs a bit of a hassle to get them in and out of.
Also not in blaze.

go into $2 shop and find a safety vest...cut it up and alter it to suit...heck a strip tied to colar is better than nothing...as is a couple of turns of insulation type tape around tail....

Yep, couldn't tell the difference from that pic of the orange blazed dog and the carcass, which was which?

Fleece no good for my GWP x Huntaway (50/50), overheat in seconds and will head for any water source to sit and roll in.

Yep, done as Mickey describes. I got the yellow vest and chopped it into strips for collar and it works well. Have a blue Stoney Creek Jones coat for winter, but warmer weather its the fluro collar treatment.

The farming stores have Velcro bands about 2 in wide ,calf markers i think they call them,in very bright colours,have used them for years,gave up on vests as my gsp used to get tangled up in thick bush.

Blaze blue for me. Stoney creek polar fleece coat I think it is.

Just a blaze buff/neck sleeve works pretty good.got sick of losing jackets

@Jared, I have my dogs with wide as in two and a half inch, Nato blue collars ... I have never liked the idea of those coats for them as I would worry myself silly that they would get caught up in the rough...

I got a plain mesh blaze and copied using vivid my stoney creek Fleece camo pattern onto it - To break it up.

We need to keep repeating the message to IDENTIFY THE TARGET, keep it in the front of our minds also. Because a dog trotting around/stalking in the bush IS NOT a deer. AND USUALLY within metres of that DOG is a Hunter also. The only encounter I have had stalking in the bush the other hunters had heard us, then seen my blaze. I thought I had heard low voices so I yelled out and we met up for a chat. It seemed my blaze orange had worked well in this instance.

Plenty of ventilation. They get pretty hot quickly.
