Still hungry!
-You've just been fed, bugger off.
WANT MORE BREAKFAST!
-You'll get fat.
Whats fat?
-It's what happens when you eat too much food.
FAT SOUNDS AWESOME! LET'S GET FAT!

And this is why I have border collies, two of mine just don't eat....
Neither does my foxred lab pup. She often leaves food, doesn't bowl you over trying to get to the feed dish, waits for you to disappear before she sedately starts eating.
My SIL's yellow lab, only a month older is a totally different story and does the traditional lab stereotype proud!
Sounds like your typical Labralux food hoover Some breeds live for their food. My heeler is partial to chicken and becomes the most alert dog in the world when it appears in the kitchen.
yup that was old lab x JJ to a "T".
Mind you the bastard was so heavily built i maintained to the day he departed one of his sires rooted a D8dozer somewhere.
placid as buggery old ladies used to make a fuss and the inevitable
i settled on by roamin catholic x opportunity.
wil be lookin for another dog later this year ,and a lab /lab x is high on my list.
At 4.30pm my dogs give me the look.
At 4.45pm, the first direct approach is made, by the bitch, she’ll sidle up to me, a playful growl, stamping of the feet.
At 5.00pm, exactly, the dog barks at me. Now they’re both following me wherever I go, around my feet, in and out. More barking.
If, by 5.15pm they still haven’t been fed, they move up a gear. Prancing around like spring lambs, woofing, whining, going round in circles.
By then, I’ll get fed up and feed them.
But only after I ask them, do you really want your dinner? Really? MAYHEM! Frothing at the mouth, leaping over eachother, rabid barking.
Sometimes I just put their bowls on the freezer and tell them to work out how to get up there. That’s not really fair though.
How my dogs can tell the time so accurately, is beyond me. Doesn’t matter what time of year it is, 5.00pm is 5.00pm. Dinner time. And I’d better not forget it. I won’t be allowed to forget it.
I have 35KG of black lab at home just don't get in his way when heading to the kennel with his food one speed at knee height he is a H & S risk ;-) He carries his weight well being an above average height lab & male, interesting is that he won't eat until he has muzzled my hand just something he does don't ask me why?
only thing that exceeds the labs appetite is the size of the dump that follows.
See folks, this is why I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel- he eats 20% of what my sister's lab can. Both are absolutely lovely dogs, though.
