agree its not hard to get a dog to bail a goat..far better than grabbing it and making it scream...once they learn that trick its hard to stop them wanting to do it again,without collar etc
dobies are VERY intelligent,its why not seen so much as guard dogs anymore..they know will get hurt so will stay back Vs stuff it I want a chew of rottie/shepherd etc
when you have your big 3 commands rock solid...work on the rest. dog is showing potential..up to you to fine tune it.
a dog who bails goats up trees is a very handy companion indeed,our heading dog learnt where good trees were for doing it and would shepherd goats towards it.... made them easy to catch .
