I got a dog to help me hunt and to be a good companion. And she is good at both. The least I can do is carry a bit of water and food for her.

I don't want my dog wearing out any sooner than she needs too, either.
As for a dog carrying cans of beer, well to my mind that's pretty damned mean spirited. Carry your own beer, or better still leave it at home and cart a bit more water for your canine friend.

I admire the Duley's greatly but there are 2 things they do that I don't like much; loading their dogs up and leaving shot deer overnight where they fall before butchering them.
    Pengy and BRADS like this.

I agree with your thoughts on the dog / deer side of things, in addition my thoughts only and just a passing comment no offense intended but something I've noticed is Greg needs to tone down how he talks to his wife on the odd occasion some comments don't come across that well.
