Large heavy sack from Wrightsons ,shove 3 Wharehouse pillows in it & stitch the end closed.
2nd option ,a fleece throw from Beds R US , Fold in half stuff 3 pillows in it & stitch it up.

I got a larger Lab & needs something under him to sleep on .Vets orders after a consult 1 Sunday
A $30 dog bed is a lot cheaper .
