Yep, know of a few badly behaved pig hunting dogs that aren't registered. Don't get anything for my rego either, don't use dog parks or any other facilities that I pay for, just pay the animal control officers salary

Cost 28$ for preferred owners eg site inspected for fencing , kenneling etc
    Standard 70$
    neutered Standard 56$
Every one I know is preferred or as they call it now "selected", and special conditions if over three dogs per property in town.

too much, $101 in auckland. if he wasnt chipped and registered when we got him, i would not have ever bothered registering him. might be time to register him as a working dog. ($32)

$45 per dog in Waipa, thinks it's cheaper in otorahanga for rural dogs.
Both councils are pretty bloody good To deal with.
We get inspected and have to have dogs on a concrete pad and dog fenced etc and have a permit to have 20 dogs.
That bit of paper cost us $27 for 3 years

If paid by the due date, the discounted fee will be only:
    $10 Administration/Owner fee
    $30 Registration fee per dog.

For payments after 31 July, the full fee will be:
    $15 Administration/Owner fee
    $40 Registration fee per dog.

Registration Fee Rebate for older dogs
Dogs 14 years and older which have been consecutively registered with SDC and compliant with all registration and bylaw requirements over the last 10 years, will not be required to pay the registration fee portion. An owner/administration fee will still need to be paid.
