I have been offered to shoot a pond on sat. My question is does anyone have their dog retrieve on effluent ponds? Is it bad for them?

Hmmmmmmmmm, now lets see, would you go wading in to retrieve a bird a couple of metres in?
Therein lies you answer IMHO
Mind you, there are effluent ponds and there are effluent ponds and there are affluent ponds .......and we cannot see yours:>)
Of course I would also be considering if I wanted to eat anything with open wounds retrieved from an effluent pond.
That's a pretty shitty decision you have to make there Ayejay.
Your going to be in the crap either way I think. ;)
Cheers
Pete
How about you go for a swim, get some of it in your eyes, ears etc. if you're ok with that, I'm sure it would be ok for your dog...:pissed off:
I was leaning towards the no option and now my decision is clarrified thanks.
You don't need to send your dog into the effluent pond to retrieve as the ducks float to the sides in no time at all.
My dogs love it, been doing it for years. Mind you our ponds never have a crust and are mostly water. If your going with a mate take his vehicle haha, they hum afterwards.
Im assuming your talking about dairy farm ponds? If its human shit then fuck that.
what on a poo wave:D orv a urine swell:omg:Quote:
