    First tahr of the season for Meer

    First one down for 2012 season. 13 1/2"

    Nice one! Bulls are getting quite black already then? Were they starting to show interest in nanny groups or still well seperated? Going for a look into some new country (for me) over Easter...
    If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

    Bit early yet there Claw, some time early to mid May on the east side.
    Although they are breeding all year around now a days, so check every mob!

    Two interesting things i didnt know , One was that people use dogs on Tahr ! Thought it was open country , must be really thick where you hunt .
    The other one is breading all year round ! How come thats happening ? is it the warm weather ?

    Hi GG, dog goes where I go, purely for tracking if needed, she is not for holding. Don't know about why with the breeeding, maybe it is just some late cycling nannies, but it is not uncommon to see very young kids in May.........
