    Foxy Deer Dogs

Does anyone out there have a Foxy or small terrier breed as a deer dog? Can you tell me a bit about your experience, how do they go in the cold/elements? I have seen hunters with Foxy X and Mini Foxy dogs but never really had a chat to them (passing on the track).

    Any comments much appreciated
She loves the free fresh wind in her hair; Life without care. She's broke but it's oke; that's why the lady is a tramp.

Hey Dougie, the guy who taught Bryce how to hunt uses one. Do you still have Bryce's number? He'd give you the down low. If not I can text it to you.

Mate had a foxy pig dog .He used to get very cold in winter in wet tussock as they not big enough to go over it , so used to be as wet as a shag most of the time , and poor thing would shiver uncontrollably . Don't no how you would train one to heel ? . They pretty much want to chase down, anything and every thing !

How is Bryce after his short flight to the bottom Phillip?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Hmmm yeah that's what I was thinking! 7mmsaum and I saw one as a deer dog once, it was very young. And super tiny.

my bosses sons foxy cross had a couple of fallow bailed up once. she loves chasing reds to so im sure with a lot of time and patience you can train any dog to do anything?? look at mine for example I started running him by himself and 12 weeks old never ran with other dogs till over a year and a half old. 1st possum at 4-5 months old now he catches pigs and goats aswell. but I spent probably 7 days a week training him for the first year

Not for an indicator. It's a Terrierist, it wants to seek and destroy

i have a allmost 3 year old mini fox terrible and ive tryed training him on deer, he would do very well but unfortunatly he loves possums and rabbits/hares far too much and i cannot call him off them when the chase is on. he does not bark at deer yet he barks at pigs and goats. i do know another guy who has a foxy and he seems to be a great little deer dog, follows blood trails and also points on 3 feet when he winds one, munta my foxy does this also.
    i wouldent rule foxys out
