Licensing the owner rather than the dog? Rather like a firearms licence You have to be licensed to own any.

Compulsory de-sexing of all dogs and cats not owned by recognised breeders. It is understand at this stage NZKC members would be recognised breeders for the purposes of the law. I wonder how farmers and those not members of the Kennel Club feel about this one...

I did see your post, Vietnamcam, it was voicing what most of us think...I was concerned about putting these subjects up as it could be deemed poliitical but WE MUST BE INFORMED..,

Agree but is it one that is acceptable? to me yes!

It was emotional/political and added nothing to the thread, I think I need to set a posting limit at around 8 440ml cans

We are the custodians in this country of the many and diverse breeds of gundogs fulfilling their roles alongside us...they are also wonderful and loyal companions which have no equal...and I believe we have an obligation to protect the sanctity of the breeds...
