    Getting a pup finally!!

After a long wait and a lot of arguing with the missus I decided to do the only honourable thing. go behind the missus back and get a dog without telling her. I was still scratching around for breeders as I was unable to get a brit from the litter I wanted one from originally so I emailed a lady who breeds GWPs. As luck would have it a guy had a 14 week old pup and had just lost access to his hunting property so couldnt use it and felt bad. I called up had a chat and now (as long as he doesn't change his mind) will have a pup in the next couple of weeks!

Keen as for a little hunting buddy. I did get booted to the couch last night once I told the missus and had to sleep there (not even kidding) but it was definitely worth it! Besides I didnt get a wink due to thinking about my little girl I'll be getting soon anyway.

    Will update as things happen

I guarantee the pup will be absolutely over the moon to see you every single day when you get home, and regardless of what "news" you bring home with you
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Better get onto building a dog house then! ..oh, and one for the pup too.
She loves the free fresh wind in her hair; Life without care. She's broke but it's oke; that's why the lady is a tramp.

Jack the mind of a woman is fickle and cannot be relied upon for constant devotion. Your new dog on the other hand will be completely devoted for all of its life. Oh and some words of wisdom from someone on his second time round, "you never have to settle property with a dog during divorce proceedings".

Very true, such a wise man Rushy!
I've always said that to the missus, "Women come and go but hunting will never walk out on me so I'd never give it or anything associated with it up for one".
She didn't like it but knew I was serious, still does!

Definitely pissed off, I knew they were fuckheads but was thinking after I'd organised everything and paid for a few for the dog it was a done deal. Anyways all good, just have to keep looking.
